IPL 2021 CSK vs MI: CSK Won By 20 Runs

IPL 2021 – Second phase, CSK ( Chennai Super Kings ) vs MI ( Mumbai Indians ) cricket match had been scheduled today in which CSK won by 20 runs.

CSK won the toss and chose to bat.

Electing to bat, Chennai Super Kings scored 156/6 against defending champions Mumbai Indians in the first match of the second phase of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Opener Ruturaj Gaikwad smoked an unbeaten 88 taking Chennai Super Kings to get to a respectable 156 for six against Mumbai Indians in Dubai. For Mumbai, Trent Boult, Adam Milne and Jasprit Bumrah grabbed a couple of wickets each. After setting up the target of 157 runs in the first game of the UAE-leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 Chennai Super Kings (CSK) removed Mumbai Indians’ top wickets early. MI without Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya found hard in the middle as CSK pacers were brilliant with the ball. Deepak Chahar struck twice while Dwayne Bravo, Josh Hazlewood and Shardul Thakur got one wicket in each. Kieron Pollard was looking good before he was dismissed by Josh Hazlewood in the fourteenth over of the match. CSK are currently second on the IPL 2021 Points Table and registered five wins and two defeats before the season was postponed.

From the previous standings standpoint, CSK is second on the table with 5 wins from 7 games. Whereas Mumbai Indians are fourth on the table with 4 wins from 7 games.
